A family oriented individual, skilled dentist, active youth leader, and community volunteer, Dr. Thomas Sims makes the dental experience a personal one. His 25+ years of dental experience and continued education in the dental field ensure you will receive painless, top quality care. He strives to keep up with the latest technology and bring up-to-date equipment into his beautiful dental practice. Dr. Sims is a proud member of the American Academy of Cranial and Facial Pain, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has successfully completed education in Motor Nerve Reflex testing, Dental Sleep Medicine and Temporal Mandibular Disorders. In his practice, he provides dental treatment including crowns and bridges, composite fillings, implant dentistry, full mouth rehab, treatment of craniofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders, sleep disordered breathing, and obstructive sleep apnea.

Dr. Sims might be a familiar face to some as he is a third-generation Arizonan. He graduated from Saguaro High School and continued his education at Arizona State University. Dr. Sims then spent two years in South Africa volunteering for his church. Upon returning, he relocated to California and attended dental school at Loma Linda University. Dr. Sims is now calling the valley home, to be near his family and give care to the community.

Outside the dental office, Dr. Sims enjoys spending time with his wife, son, daughter and their families. He shares dedication to the community by volunteering his time to provide free dental work for under privileged children. In his remaining time, Dr. Sims finds relaxation boating on the lakes around the valley. Dr. Sims is truly an asset to the community.

Dr. Liz Wallmann, DDS

Doctor

Dr. Liz Wallmann joined the Centre for Progressive Dentistry in 2015. She knows that most people don’t love going to the dentist, and it is her goal to keep you as comfortable as possible while providing the highest quality of care. She is dedicated to treating every patient as she would her own family.

Dr. Wallmann is originally from St. George, Utah. After graduating from high school, she attended Brigham Young University where she received a degree in statistics. She completed her dental education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Dr. Wallmann also received additional training as a part of an advanced education in general dentistry residency, which was completed at the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Since completing her residency, Dr. Wallmann has been actively involved in study clubs and continuing education in order to stay up to date and continue to provide the level of care our patients deserve.

Dr. Wallmann came to Arizona immediately after completing her residency. She worked at practices in Gilbert and Glendale before finally finding her home with the Centre for Progressive Dentistry. She loves baseball and is an avid Diamondbacks fan; she can regularly be found at Chase Field during baseball season and Paul Goldschmidt is her favorite player. She also loves Disneyland and makes trips out to Anaheim as often as she can. Arizona has a special place in her heart for another reason — she met her husband, Thatcher, here! They married in 2016 and love spending time together and with their extended family.

Dr. Wallmann is excited to be a part of the exceptional team at the Centre for Progressive Dentistry and looks forward to caring for you and your family

Dr. Danielle Bitton, DMD

Doctor

Dr. Danielle Bitton, DMD

Dr. Danielle “Dani” Bitton is excited to call The Centre for Progressive Dentistry home again after a 7-year hiatus to continue her academic studies and attend dental school. She first came to this practice as a dental assistant in 2007 after moving to Arizona from Idaho. While assisting her mentor, Dr. Thomas Sims, she discovered her passion for teeth, people’s smiles, and providing exceptional dental care to patients. Dr. Sims and the rest of the dental family at The Centre for Progressive Dentistry were a great support and motivator in helping her to make the decision to continue her education and become a dentist herself.

She completed her dental education at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine- Arizona where she graduated as one of the top students and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. During her time at Midwestern she was awarded the prestigious William S. Kramer Award of Excellence and the Russell O. Gilpatrick Award, given to the student who excelled throughout their four years of dental school. With the perspective as an assistant, and now a dentist, Dr. Bitton holds herself to the highest standard in providing exceptional care delivered with a gentle touch.

“What a great opportunity I have to combine two of my passions- people and teeth!
I am dedicated to your comfort and caring for your smile for years to come.”

Dr. Bitton is excited to return home to The Centre for Progressive Dentistry, where she can continue to put “People First, Teeth Second.”

Out of the office you can find Dr. Dani enjoying life with her husband Josh, and their three children, Berkley, Blake, and Beckam.
